Regional council reporting
This week we explored the questions that remain about the governor's plan to fund economic development from the ground up:
- Tuesday morning we heard from WMHT's Marie Cusick, who gave us an overview of the process the councils are undertaking - and the concerns that they don't have enough time to finish.
- Wednesday morning we heard from WXXI's Zack Seward about how the governor plans to pay for the projects selected by the regional councils as their regional priorities.
- Thursday morning WNED's Daniel Robison reported on the make-up of the councils. Curious about who's on your local council? We've profiled the members of all of the councils in the area that the Innovation Trail reports on.
- Friday morning, WRVO's Emma Jacobs reported on New York's long history of going regional when it comes to solving economic problems.
