Andrew Cuomo is beating his own trail around the state: the campaign trail.
Arriving by RV in Ithaca last week on his 'Drive for a New New York,' Cuomo was met by protesters. Demonstrators wanted the gubernatorial candidate to harden his stance against the use of hydrofracking in natural gas extraction in New York State.
Anti-fracking protesters have made themselves a regular presence at Cuomo's rallies. But as Cuomo himself noted, Ithacans are practiced demonstrators. You can see more photos of the costumes on hand to sway visiting politicians here.
