Rochester's jobs number was up 1.8 percent in January (Velvet Spicer, Rochester Business Journal).

The Capital Region was up also up, 1.4 percent (Eric Anderson, Times Union).

Buffalo only notched up .2 percent (David Robinson, Buffalo News).
