College Town in Rochester has lost another business. Bar 145, which opened in March of 2016, recently shut down.

The Director of Marketing for College Town, Cass McCrory, says the Ohio-based chain was dealing with a management issue involving the Rochester location.

Other businesses that have closed in the last couple of years include Constantino’s Market, which closed in 2016, along with the Corner Bakery & Café and Saxby’s Coffee.

But McCrory says there is a letter of intent from a restaurant to rent the space that had been used by Bar 145.  She also says College Town has a letter of intent from another restaurant to rent the shop previously occupied by the Corner Bakery.

The University of Rochester Medical Center announced in May that it will expand patient services into the former Constantino’s space and also may house some administrative operations there.
